About this unit

The Samyang 10mm T3.1 VDSLR ED AS NCS CS II is a wide-angle lens specifically designed for professional cinema and video. Its Sony E mount and APS-C format make it a versatile option for Sony mirrorless cameras. This lens stands out for its gear ring for follow focus, which allows smooth and precise focusing, and its de-clicked aperture ring, which enables silent and continuous exposure changes during recording.

With a T3.1 aperture (equivalent to f/3.1 in light transmission), it offers good performance in varied lighting conditions. The distance scales and T-number are marked on both sides of the lens, facilitating precise measurement and work with cinema accessories. As a second-hand unit, it has been inspected and comes with a Camera Market warranty (6, 12, or 24 months), giving you peace of mind in your purchase.

· Frequently asked questions ·
Is this lens compatible with my Sony camera?

The mount is Sony E, so it is compatible with Sony mirrorless cameras with APS-C sensors (such as the A6000, A6100 series, etc.). For full-frame cameras, it may work in crop mode, but it will not cover the entire sensor.

What is the T3.1 aperture and why is it important for video?

The T aperture is a measure of actual light transmission, unlike f (which is theoretical). T3.1 indicates that the light reaching the sensor is equivalent to f/3.1, offering a good balance between brightness and depth of field. For video, it is useful because it allows more precise exposure control.

Can I use this lens for photography?

Yes, although it is designed for cinema, it can also be used for photography. Its manual focus and robust construction make it suitable for landscape, architecture, or any situation where a wide-angle lens is needed.

What does the Camera Market warranty include?

This second-hand lens has been inspected and is covered by the Camera Market warranty, which you can choose between 6, 12, or 24 months. This covers any functional defects that may arise during the warranty period.
