Is this lens compatible with my Nikon DX camera?
Yes, it is compatible with Nikon FX (full-frame) and also with DX (APS-C) cameras. On the latter, the equivalent focal length would be approximately 75mm, making it an excellent portrait lens.
Does it have autofocus?
No, this lens is manual focus (MF). You will need to adjust focus by turning the lens ring. This gives you total control over the focus point, ideal for creative photography and for use with features like focus peaking on cameras with Live View.
What type of filters can I use?
The lens has a filter thread diameter of 77mm. You can use UV, polarizing, ND filters, etc., as long as they are that diameter.
What is the minimum focusing distance?
