View warranty terms and conditionsThe Fujifilm X-T3, announced in September 2018, was at the time one of the most complete APS-C mirrorless cameras on the market, and today it is a very interesting second-hand purchase. With its back-illuminated 26.1MP X-Trans CMOS 4 sensor and the X-Processor 4, it offers excellent image quality, with the famous Fuji film simulations that give an immediate character to your photos. It is a camera designed for the advanced enthusiast and semi-professional: weather-sealed body, physical dials for ISO, speed, and compensation, a large and sharp OLED viewfinder, and dual UHS-II SD slots. In video, it was a leader in its class, with 4K at 60p in 10-bit internal, F-Log, Eterna profile, and headphone jack. It works well for street, travel, portrait, documentary, and video. With the Fujifilm X mount, you can enjoy it with the entire range of Fujifilm X mount lenses. It is worth knowing one honest limitation: it does not have in-body image stabilization (IBIS) and its screen is only tilting, not articulated. If you don't need those two things, the X-T3 offers a lot of camera today for relatively little money compared to comparable alternatives.

What lenses are compatible with the Fujifilm X-T3?
It mounts the Fujifilm X mount, so it accepts the entire range of Fujinon XF/XC (APS-C) optics and also third-party lenses like Sigma, Tamron, or Viltrox in X mount. You can explore options here: Fujifilm X mount lenses. With an adapter, it accepts optics from other brands, although with limited autofocus or in manual.
Does the X-T3 have in-body image stabilization (IBIS)?
How is it for video?
Very capable for its generation: it records 4K DCI and UHD up to 60p with 10-bit 4:2:0 internal (4:2:2 via HDMI), Full HD at 120p for slow motion, and offers F-Log and Eterna simulation. It includes microphone and headphone jacks. Note that it can heat up during long 4K/60p recordings and it does not have IBIS.
How long does the battery last?
It uses the NP-W126S battery, with a CIPA battery life of about 390 shots. This is a modest figure, so for a full day it is advisable to carry 2-3 spare batteries. It charges via USB-C, very practical with a power bank.
Is it good for beginners?
It is a high-end camera aimed at the advanced enthusiast and semi-pro, not a typical starter camera. A determined beginner can learn a lot with it thanks to its physical dials, but if you are looking for something fully automatic and simple, you might find the power and controls overwhelming.
What should I check when buying it second-hand?
Check the shutter count and the condition of the shutter (many were used intensively for video), that both UHS-II SD slots work, the firmware is updated, the EVF and screen have no dead pixels, the sealing gaskets, that the dials do not wobble, and that the micro-HDMI port is not damaged. Also confirm the health of the battery and that it charges via USB-C.
How much does it weigh and what battery life does it offer?
It weighs 539 g with battery and card, a compact and sealed body ideal for travel and street. Its battery life is modest (CIPA ~390 shots), so for long photo or video days, it is advisable to carry additional batteries.
To complete it, take a look at spare batteries, memory cards, or camera cases.
